This week Marilyn’s Vintage reached 1000 followers on Instagram.  The 1000th follower being Nadiia. While the allure of higher numbers might beckon, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the 1000 wonderful souls who had chosen to embark on this journey with me. Little did I know that this milestone would lead to a heartwarming connection that exemplified the true essence of human interaction in the virtual world. It was a special achievement, reminding me of the value of genuine connections over sheer numbers. To express my gratitude, I gifted a Marilyn's Vintage silk scarf to Nadiia aiming to add a personal touch to the digital realm.

Nadiia, who hails from the Ukraine, and now lives in Ireland responded with heartfelt appreciation. Having previously worked in costume design, she is in the pursuit of following her dream of studying costume design in Limerick. She said that the silk scarf would become her talisman, a symbol of encouragement for her journey and would bring her good luck.
